Flowing Space is pleased to present Chaser in the Mist, an exhibition by designers Yangyang Liu and Brunela Ramirez. The exhibition unfolds as a contemplative environment where garments, images, and soundscapes dissolve boundaries between materiality and illusion. Within this setting, fashion extends beyond its functional form to become installation, narrative, and sensorial encounter.
Hosted inside Flowing Space’s gallery and tea house, Chaser in the Mist juxtaposes avant-garde fashion with the atmosphere of a meditative space. Translucent garments, halftone textures, and layered sound compose a world that evokes mystery while grounding visitors through a sensory tea service.
About the Artists
Yangyang is a fashion and print designer trained at Kingston MA Fashion. Her practice draws on cinematic and contemporary art influences with a research-driven approach to material and form. She translates filmic imagery and 2D graphics into tactile prints, three-dimensional garments, and immersive installations. Halftone textures, translucent layering, and precise pattern-cutting become tools to explore how imagery and materiality shape perception and belief.
Brunela Ramirez is a designer whose work is informed by philosophy, humanity, and explorations of identity. Through her brand Bosshi, she constructs fashion as a language of storytelling, merging art and technique to challenge the ways in which we see and express ourselves. For this exhibition, her practice emphasizes construction, detail, and visual installation, revealing the craftsmanship and narrative sensibility at the core of her work.
